What is "Hand" Plasma cutting?
All our plasma cuts have been carefully drawn out by either my wife or I. We take the time to imagine and picture what our customers are dreaming of or a design they have brought to us. After each piece is drawn out and carefully gone through to ensure no wrong cuts or mistakes will be made, it is then brought to the shop. I then have a Plasma torch to start the process of bringing the drawings to works of art!
This calls for a good listener for my clients, direction from my wife, and a steady hand. Cut too much and you may lose the piece, not enough you don't get the impact intended. Too slow you melt the metal, or too fast you don't cut through, therefore leaving a mess. It takes patience and practice but is well worth the results!
